Roberto De Zerbi names the part of Wolves’ team that impresses him the most

Wolves are taking on Brighton on Wednesday night and Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi has been speaking ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round clash today.

After back-to-back wins in the Premier League, Wolves are now looking to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup to keep the ball rolling in what has been a superb season so far.

Gary O’Neil has said today that he will be going as strong as possible for tomorrow night’s game, indicating that he is giving the competition his full respect.

There is real optimism about Wolves at the moment and fans believe O’Neil can achieve special things this season.

Many would like to believe that FA Cup glory is a possibility, but Brighton will be a stern test as they usually always are.

But De Zerbi is certainly wary of what lies in front of his side, as he spoke about Wolves today…

De Zerbi has today been speaking about Wolves and what he feels they will present tomorrow night.

It is clear that he is a big fan of the work that Gary O’Neil has done this season, but there is one part of the current Wolves team that he likes in particular.

He said (via Brighton official): “They are a very good team and they are playing very well. They won in Chelsea and Tottenham’s stadiums. I watched a lot of their last games. They have a clear style of play. They have very good players, especially in attack. But also Kilman and Lemina, everywhere. They are competing to reach European places in the table.”

It is not the first time De Zerbi has been complimentary about Wolves.

Ahead of the last meeting between the two sides at the Amex Stadium, the Italian picked out four players for acknowledgment – Lemina, Kilman, Matheus Cunha and Pablo Sarabia – and also branded O’Neil’s team ‘bold’ and ‘brisk’.

A chance for Wolves against depleted Brighton

De Zerbi is clearly a big fan of what Wolves have been doing and it’s nice to hear him being complimentary ahead of the game. O’Neil has also praised Brighton, and clearly there is a great respect between the two managers.

Tomorrow night will be a good opportunity for Wolves.

The game is at Molineux and Wolves have been great at home this season. Brighton are without a number of key players like Kaoru Mitoma, Evan Ferguson, Danny Welbeck and Billy Gilmour for the game, so Wolves have to be feeling positive.

Gary O’Neil’s team sheet will be interesting. He has a fully fit squad barring Matheus Cunha, but perhaps Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and/or Tommy Doyle will come, as Andy Thompson predicted this week.
