Wolves are in a perilous position in the Premier League and Rob Edwards has been urged to inject three things back into the team.
Wolves sit rock bottom of the Premier League table, and have taken just two points from their first 11 matches.
Vitor Pereira was sacked at the start of November for overseeing the terrible start, and the club have brought in Rob Edwards as his replacement.
Wolves had initially wanted Gary O’Neil to return.
When Wolves came calling, the decision was clear for Rob Edwards
But O’Neil eventually withdrew from the process at the last moment, prompting Wolves to pivot.
Edwards now has a huge job on his hands to save Wolves from relegation.
But Wolves are confident that Edwards will unite the club, and there is a feeling that this is a smart appointment for the long term.
Dave Edwards has written about Wolves in his latest column – and believes there are some things he must inject into the team as soon as possible.
Dave Edwards shares what Rob Edwards must inject into toothless Wolves

Edwards needs to make history if he is to keep Wolves in the Premier League.
No team has survived with this tally of points from the first 11 games before, and the situation certainly looks bleak at the moment.
But Edwards comes in with an affinity with the club, and is someone who has the power and potential to make a positive change.
For Dave Edwards though, there are three things he definitely needs to instil which have been ‘completely absent’ this season.
He said in his latest E&S column: “I know we need to keep more clean sheets and be more defensively solid, but we need to look like we can score more goals as well.
Whether it’s using the strikers’ physicality, like he did at Luton with Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo, or if he can get some creativity, ingenuity and star quality into the team, which has been completely absent since Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri left the football club. “
Jhon Arias and Fer Lopez could be solutions for Rob Edwards
The exits of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri were always going to sting.
There has undoubtedly been an alarming lack of creativity, ingenuity and star quality this season at Wolves and Edwards could certainly do with discovering these things if Wolves are to improve.
Dave Edwards also pointed to two of Wolves’ summer signings as potential solutions to the issue, saying: “Will it be Jhon Arias that comes to the fore? Or Fer Lopez coming into the team and adding a little bit of guile? It’ll be interesting to see which direction Rob goes in.”
Are you confident Rob Edwards will help Wolves avoid relegation?
Wolves have played very few through balls this season and Lopez could help Edwards rectify that issue if given a chance.
The Spaniard didn’t see a lot of game time under Pereira, but has the chance to start afresh now under Edwards and potentially make a difference.
