Wolves were beaten again in their latest Premier League match – and Rob Edwards has admitted one aspect of his side is not where it needs to be.
Wolves crashed to a 4-1 defeat against Manchester United at Molineux, which was the scene of protests against owners Fosun.
Fans gathered outside the Billy Wright Stand, and then entered the ground 15 minutes after kick-off.
Do you agree with Jamie Carragher’s latest verdict on Wolves? 🤔
The pundit has been stunned by the Old Gold's lack of competitiveness in 25/26…
Wolves produced one of their worst displays of the season so far against the Red Devils.
It was remarkable to see how easy they made it for the visitors, with goals being gifted.
After the game, Edwards slammed Wolves’ defending, admitting it was like watching a kids’ game.
And the Wolves manager also honed in on something that really concerned him.
Rob Edwards criticises Wolves on the transition

It was a real mess of a performance against United.
Wolves had a good spell before half-time that saw them get back on level terms through Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
But United then ran away with it in the second-half, taking advantage of the chaotic nature of the game.
And for Edwards, Wolves simply aren’t good enough on the transition.
He told the E&S: “We pressed them well, they gave it us back and we were able to take more of the ball and we created some chances.
“Then it was too open on the turnover for a couple of moments, but that was nothing really to do with being more open, that was just poor play.
Do you agree with Rob Edwards that Wolves are poor in transitions?
We used to be so good at this… 😩
“We’re actually poor in the running and decision-making on the transitions.
“Once the game got like that, then I feel like there was a little bit of hesitancy in the lads.
“There were a few moments there where United could smell blood and then they could start finding some spaces and it would look more disorganised than it probably should have done.”
Wolves are far too easy to play against
Wolves have simply been too easy to play against this season. Of course, a haul of two points from 15 games is proof enough of that.
But the way Wolves were carved open by United was really worrying and it isn’t the first time we’ve seen it happen.

At times, there has been a real wastefulness about the way Wolves have brought the ball forward in promising situations.
Attacks have often petered out into nothing, and there is no denying that the loss of Matheus Cunha and Pedro Neto in recent years has really stung in this regard.
Those two in particular were exceptional players on the transition and picked the right option more often than not.
