Rob Edwards will have had just a few days with his whole Wolves squad before they take on Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The international break meant the new head coach did not have every player available for each training session, but as the game draws closer, more members of his team are joining up.
Heartbreak in World Cup qualifiers meant Jackson Tchatchoua was one player who joined up earlier than expected.
The Cameroonian was defeated by DR Congo, ending his hopes of heading to the tournament in North America.
He has now had time to link up with Rob Edwards, and Tchatchoua has shared what the new head coach has been asking for from his players, with Crystal Palace up next on Saturday.
Wolves fans, how do you see Rob Edwards getting on in his first game against Crystal Palace?
Jackson Tchatchoua reveals Rob Edwards’ main principles at Wolves
The task to avoid relegation is monumental, with Wolves 11 games without a win in the Premier League and currently on just two points.
When a new head coach joins a club, there will be some different principles they set, and Jackson Tchatchoua has shared what Edwards wants his side to do.
Tchatchoua stated via Wolves’ official website, “The coach said he wants us to put more intensity into the match, more duels, and more running together. When one person loses the ball, everybody should want to get the ball back for him.
“I think it’s all in the little details. One by one, they will make a big difference. If we can do this in the matches and make these little changes, as well as have more luck with us because we’ve had a little bit of bad luck in certain moments, then the positive energy will come to us.”
Going winless against Crystal Palace will hand Edwards an unwanted record, but it seems he is already stamping the philosophy he wants Wolves to abide by before Saturday.

The idea of Wolves being more athletic and more aggressive in duels hints that players like Marshall Munetsi could have a starring role for the Old Gold.
The Zimbabwean was often praised by Vitor Pereira for those exact qualities throughout his tenure.
However, Edwards will want to improve Munetsi in a vital area of his play as the Wanderers look to turn around their form.
And with Crystal Palace’s style of play, Munetsi might not be the best option to play.
Head to head: Wolves and Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace do not tend to hold much possession
Oliver Glasner’s side much prefer to play against teams on the break, according to the club’s overall possession stats.
The Eagles rank 19th for average possession based on FotMob’s data with 41.8%. Only Burnley (38.4%) have lower.
Wolves tend to see much more of the ball, with an average of 47.2%. With the game at Molineux, the Old Gold could share most of the possession.
If that is the case, having a player like Munetsi, who is often criticised for his on-ball abilities, may not be the smartest move.
And at Molineux News, we feel that Jean Ricner Bellegarde may be a better option for Rob Edwards vs Crystal Palace.
