Rob Edwards is facing a huge task keeping Wolves up this season, and the boss has now outlined in detail how he intends to get his side playing.
Rob Edwards replaced Vitor Pereira last month, and is now tasked with trying to keep Wolves in the Premier League.
With just two points on the board after 13 games though, Edwards will need to create history to make that happen.
There are so many things to fix. The biggest issue right now is scoring goals, so hopefully Edwards will soon get a tune out of the attacking players.
But one issue that has been a bit more longstanding is the lack of true identity for this Wolves team.
Edwards has said he wants Wolves to be ‘us’, and now, he has elaborated on just how he’ll do that.
Rob Edwards shares how he wants Wolves to actually play

Wolves fans have been left exasperated at times this season watching the team play.
Under Pereira, everything was chaotic. There were no patterns and no substance, with the manager constantly chopping and changing his team and tactics, hoping something would stick.
Edwards knows he has to create an identity and a way of playing, but what does that look like?
The Wolves boss has now outlined what he wants to see in a new interview with Sky Sports.
He said: “I want it to be an exciting game. I want it to be aggressive. I want to play quick, dynamic football.
Does this Sky interview give you more confidence Rob Edwards can improve Wolves? 🤔
“But also I want to suit the players that we have as well. Having some control in the game suits what we’ve got.”
He adds: “We want to create chances with a high press, a high regain, a counter-press, a good bit of football with a cross and finish.
“And maybe a bit of getting through the team as well, in all kinds of different ways. We will play to the players’ strengths.”
Edwards eyeing mixed approach but intensity will be key
Edwards is clearly keen for his side to have multiple ways of playing.
But it seems that aggression and intensity will be things that underpin his side.
It’s crystal clear for Rob Edwards what needs to happen at Wolves
Indeed, Wolves are already sprinting more in games, and that increase in intensity has seen Wolves become more competitive at least.
Edwards wants to do a lot of things. Whether he can successfully implement multiple styles remains to be seen, but it’s positive at least to hear him elaborating on his ideas.
