Rival fans tell Wolves that one star could ‘play for Real Madrid’ after what he did vs Brighton

One Wolves player caught the attention of rival fans during the Old Gold’s defeat to Brighton.

Wolves lost 2-0 to Brighton at Molineux in a lacklustre display in the Premier League.

Vitor Pereira would’ve expected a lot more from his squad, despite it being the penultimate home game of the season, with several players appearing to already be on their holidays.

Several Wolves stars were below par against Brighton, however, one member of Pereira’s starting XI generated attention for just how good he was.

Wolves supporters and fans of rival clubs praise Rayan Ait-Nouri

Wolves fans slammed Marshall Munetsi’s underwhelming performance but supporters of the Old Gold found sanctuary in another player’s display. 

One supporter took to X to praise Rayan Ait-Nouri, who was busy on the left flank against the Seagulls. 

“Ait-Nouri a stand-out, he was excellent,” they said, as another Wolves fan drew attention to the need to keep the Algerian ahead of the summer transfer window. 

“We need to get Ait-Nouri that new contract, was our only threat that whole game.”

Wolves are planning to offer Ait-Nouri a new contract amid transfer links away from Molineux, with plenty of clubs said to be eyeing the 23-year-old’s movements.

Manchester United are one of the clubs that want Ait-Nouri, and fans of the Red Devils tuned into Wolves’ clash against Brighton to see what the left-back could offer Ruben Amorim. 

“We need Ait-Nouri. He’s bonkers in tight spaces,” a Man United fan said on social media, as another insisted that the Wolves ace would start for their club. 

“Rayan Ait-Nouri and Andre, both would start for United.” 

Another United supporter said, “I need Rayan Ait-Nouri at my club. This is what a wing-back should look like.”

Fans of other clubs chimed in to applaud Ait-Nouri’s quality, as high praise came flooding in for the versatile defender. 

“Ait-Nouri is such a class fullback, so well-rounded, 3 tackles, 3 dribbles, 2 key passes in just under 60mins.” 

“Ait Nouri is actually class. The team that will get him will upgrade massively.” 

One rival fan even shared their opinion that Ait-Nouri is capable of playing for Champions League holders Real Madrid.

“I’m telling you Ait-Nouri can play for Real Madrid.”

Ait-Nouri was almost untouchable vs Brighton

Ait-Nouri has been praised for his impact at Wolves, and it’s no surprise that rival clubs are eager to sign the Algeria international. 

In what was a lacklustre game all round for the Old Gold at Molineux when Brighton came to visit, the 23-year-old stood out for the right reasons.

Remarkably, Ait-Nouri attempted 13 dribbles on the left side, completing five as well as winning three fouls.

The left-back also contributed six defensive actions, winning as many as 12 duels to try and get the game to turn in Wolves’ favour.

It will be fascinating to see how the summer pans out for Ait-Nouri, who Wolves want to extend and other clubs are desperate to sign.
