Wolves got their first win of the season beating West Ham 3-2 in an intriguing Carabao Cup clash at Molineux.
It’s finally provided some excitement for the home crowd after a difficult start to the season.
Jorgen Strand Larsen will dominate the headlines for multiple reasons, but the main one should be his two-minute brace off the bench to bring Wolves back from the brink of elimination.

But there was another player who came off the bench that Wolves fans are raving about, and with good reason.
Wolves fans blown away by Jackson Tchatchoua
Jackson Tchatchoua got his first taste of English football last weekend, and he was a bright spot in a rather underwhelming team performance.
He continued in the same vein this time around, coming on in with 20 minutes to go as Wolves were trailing.
Tchatchoua’s highly regarded pace was on full display as he bolted up the right channel several times, one of which ended with him assisting the winner with a beautiful cross onto the head of Strand Larsen.
Fans were quick to praise their new wingback.
One X user writes: “Tchatchoua making a difference you love to see it.”
Another agrees: “Tchatchoua I am moved, some player.”
This Wolves fan saw the runs up the wing and was reminded of a former Wolves hero: “Tchatchoua was getting used like Adama at the end there, was getting me nostalgic.”
“Tchatchoua has been a revelation”, posts another impressed fan.
Some were looking ahead at the future. One fan says: “Hugo Bueno MOTM for me tonight, he looked threatening all game. Him and Tchatchoua are two nailed on starters for me now.”
In a similar sentiment, this fan wants more of what he saw from the substitutes: “4-4-2 and have Tchatchoua sling heat seekers on Sasa’s and Jorgen’s domes all season.”
Jackson Tchatchoua offers Wolves something new at wing-back
Vitor Pereira is well aware of how important wing-backs are in his system.
Rodrigo Gomes was fantastic in this game, even bagging a goal. But looking at Tchatchoua when he came on, he does indeed have to be nailed on.

Too many times, Wolves’ forward momentum is halted as the wide man turns back in. Tchatchoua is direct, looking to get behind the lines and put dangerous balls into the box.
As we also saw, he is devastating in transition, something Pereira will be excited to utilise further.
This signing is not a flop, that much is certain.
