Sanderson had been putting in some solid displays for Birmingham City. While Giles had been racking up the assists for Cardiff City.

Wolves have moved to get both back, which is a decision that has garnered a mixed reaction on social media.

It seems Giles and Sanderson have returned, because it is unlikely there will be much transfer activity this month.

Last night the club put out a statement from Scott Sellars regarding the plans for this month.

He admitted it was certain there won’t be large number of new players coming in.

So it seems Wolves have turned to two of their own – but The Athletic have claimed both players could yet head out on loan again.

The publication reports that if neither player pulls on a Wolves shirt this month, they could both go back to Birmingham and Cardiff to pick up where they left off.

Or they could go to different clubs. Apparently there is a lot of interest in both youngsters.

At this stage, it is ‘more likely’ that both will head out again. The club are aware it is important for their development that they continue playing.

An interesting claim about Wolves youngsters Giles and Sanderson

It will be interesting to see what happens with Giles and Sanderson this month.

Both players were enjoying really good spells before being recalled.

Bruno Lage has not given too many young players chances this season – the likes of Ki-Jana Hoever and Fabio Silva both being regulars on the bench.

It is good to know both could head back out. Them playing as much as possible has to be the most important thing.

Wolves should have Pedro Neto, Jonny Castro Otto and Yerson Mosquera back soon, which should have the squad looking much healthier.
