It is the rumour that won’t go away.
Despite Nuno Espirito Santo’s recent comments about his immediate future at Wolverhampton Wanderers, the lure of the Tottenham Hotspur gig might is strong – at least in the eyes of some sections of the media.

According to The Sun, super-agent Jorge Mendes has been in contact with the north London club regarding a potential move for his client.
Spurs had supposedly been keen on the likes of Brendan Rodgers and Julian Nagelsmann.
But Rodgers has reiterated he is happy at the King Power Stadium, and Nagelsmann is joining Bayern Munich ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Theoretically, that bumps Nuno up their shortlist.

Given the struggles of Wolves this season, and the amount of time he’s been in charge at Molineux, some have been expecting Nuno to depart this summer.
But last week, the 47-year-old said (via Birmingham Mail): “I have a contract.
“When I sign a contract there is nothing that I can say more. It’s my decision to sign a contract and that’s all I want to say. When I make a decision like that there’s no doubt in my mind.”
Nuno penned a new three-year deal back in September.
Rodgers and Nagelsmann developments slightly worrying
Even though Nuno appears to be committed to Wolves, there is still a feeling he is not guaranteed to be Wolves manager heading into 2021/22.
That Rodgers and Nagelsmann are both committed to other projects could well see Spurs ramp up their interest in Nuno.
