Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly slapped a €20 million/£17 million price tag on striker Rafa Mir, with Inter Milan said to be keen.

According to a report from Inter Live, Mir’s form on loan at Huesca has piqued the attention of the current Serie A leaders.

It’s explained that the Spanish star could make a move if Romelu Lukaku departs.

The Belgian goal machine, who’s scored 25 times for Inter so far this season, likely won’t be off anywhere, but he’s regularly been linked with a departure.

Apparently Jorge Mendes could also offer Mir to Juventus. It’s claimed Wolves would be seeking a fee in the region of £17 million to sell.

This particular piece of information comes after it was claimed yesterday that Huesca do not have an option to buy.

Aim high but £17 million unlikely

Wolves receiving a £17 million offer for Mir from Inter does not seem hugely likely.

Indeed, the report states that the Italians would have reservations paying such an amount for a player who doesn’t yet have a senior international cap to his name.

But perhaps if a team offered a few million pounds less than that it would be worth considering.

A number of fans are hoping to see him get another opportunity at Molineux, but maybe Wolves shouldn’t walk away from the chance to turn a great profit.
