Wolves’ poor form continued on Saturday as they recorded another defeat in the Premier League against Liverpool.
Gary O’Neil‘s side lost 2-1 at Molineux, and once again failed to get something from a game when in a position to get points.
Wolves went behind on the stroke of half-time through an Ibrahima Konate header, but got back level in the second-half through Rayan Ait-Nouri after a defensive mix-up.
But seconds later, Wolves conceded a penalty when Nelson Semedo hauled Diogo Jota to the ground. Mo Salah converted.
It is a highly concerning situation for Wolves, with the pressure increasing on O’Neil.
Gary Neville was commentating for Sky Sports yesterday, and did not hold back about Wolves after the full-time whistle.
Gary Neville expresses concern for Wolves after latest defeat to Liverpool

Wolves put in a strange performance against Liverpool.
They used the ball well at times, but there were also occasions when Wolves frustratingly did not go for the jugular.
Once again, there was frailty at the back, which was perhaps to be expected with no Craig Dawson, who missed the clash through illness.
Gary Neville voiced his opinions about Wolves at the end of the game, and many will agree with his verdict.
He said on Sky: “They definitely could (have shown more ambition). Look they’re up against a good side, it’s been a great start to the season for Arne Slot and for Liverpool.
“They were really comfortable, Liverpool didn’t play anywhere near their best and they didn’t have to.
“Really worrying for Wolves. I just think the intent in the game, the actual positive nature of the performance just wasn’t there.
“What I would say is that it was slightly worrying, because they didn’t look like had any idea how to really commit to this game and these Wolves fans in this stadium weren’t buying into it.”

No one really expected Wolves to get anything against Liverpool, given the poor form of the team and the fact O’Neil lost Dawson to illness.
But the way Wolves played against the Reds, many have been left feeling as though it was a missed opportunity for points.
Liverpool were nowhere near their best, and Wolves had control of the game for large points.
Wolves once again ended up losing a game when they were in a position to take a point and this is why Wolves are in real trouble.
There seems to be a psychological problem at the moment, and if this is not overcome soon then a relegation battle will almost certainly be on the cards.
