Wolves welcome Manchester City to Molineux on Saturday. Ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola has been full of praise for his opponents.
It is no surprise he’s complimentary of Old Gold as he probably remembers when Wolves did the double over City in 2019.
However a lot has changed since then for both sides, as Wolves haven’t went through a few managers and a steady decrease in league position.
While City have won the treble and look favourites for all three competitions again.
But despite this, Pep Guardiola has been full of praise for the Wolves squad as he singled out three who he is concerned about on the trip to Molineux.

Guardiola on Wolves squad
Speaking to press at his pre-game press conference via Football Daily, Guardiola was full of praise for three names in Wolves’ squad.
“We always struggle in Wolves and when you see the quality individually that they have.”
He then continued to sit the three, “Especially up front with Neto, with Cunha, with the Korean [Hee-Chan Hwang] guy, they are really really good.”
High praise which likely means he will have a method and defensive set-up to completely nullify them on Saturday.
Trio are vital for Wolves to get anything from game
The trio which Guardiola singled out is the three players we have tipped as being key to Wolves’ chances in our predicted line-up.
Especially Pedro Neto and Hee-Chan Hwang have been immense this season and they’ll be looking to continue in the hopes of putting a stellar performance down against the world’s best team.
Ultimately however it is important we acknowledge who we are facing and admit it will be tough.
City are the leagues best defence and we will need to do very well to breach their back-line.
