Wolves are in a dogfight at the bottom of the Premier League and must have a better second half of the season if they’re to avoid the drop.
Struggling for results, Wolves sit dangerously above the relegation zone on just 16 points after 22 games, separated from Ipswich Town only by goals scored.

Vitor Pereira is now preparing for an incredibly tough fixture when his side welcomes Arsenal to Molineux on Saturday.
Ahead of an important period, one player has spoken about the 56-year-old’s influence and highlighted the one thing he can do which helps a lot of the Wolves first team.

Rayan Ait-Nouri reveals impressive Vitor Pereira ability
Rayan Ait-Nouri has been a mainstay under both Gary O’Neil and Pereira. The Algerian has started 21 Premier League games this season and will be pivotal to the side’s survival.
And although the Old Gold aren’t where Ait-Nouri wants them to be, the full-back has full belief in his manager.
Speaking about how Pereira’s range of abilities helps the team, the 23-year-old has credited the manager’s multilingualism.
“It’s a pleasure to work with him, the staff, they speak a lot with the players. He speaks French and it’s good for me and for the French players,” he told the Wolves site.
“He’s very good tactically, and a very good human also. Hopefully we’ll win for him, for the staff, for the fans, and put confidence in the minds of the players.
“My English is not very good, but I want to improve every day. So, to speak French is easier. He gave me some advice and try I to reproduce it on the pitch.”
Impressive from the Wolves manager who is fluent in at least three languages — Portuguese, English, and as Ait-Nouri has revealed, French.
French-speaking players benefiting
Although the bulk of the squad comprises English and Portuguese-speaking players, there are also a number of French-speaking players.
So, Pereira’s ability to communicate in an array of languages is a huge positive, particularly when it comes to the defence, which now includes new signing, and French-speaking, Emmanuel Agbadou.
“With Emmanuel, to be honest, I speak French. It’s easy to speak with him and on the pitch he’s behind me and he can give me some advice with things I can’t see. Toti can also speak French, so it’s easier when Toti or ‘Agba’ play behind me,” Ait-Nouri added.
Fans will be hoping Wolves’ defence can do better against Arsenal. The side have conceded three goals in their last three league games.
Arsenal will pose a threat from the first minute, but shoring up the backline will give the side the best chance of taking something from the game.
