Raul Jimenez has just made a confession about Wolves that fans will absolutely love

Former Wolves striker Raul Jimenez was one of the several players to reach cult hero status at Molineux during the Nuno Espirito Santo era.

Wolves signed Jimenez initially on loan during the summer of 2018 and then made his move permanent for £30 million in April 2019.

The Mexican became their greatest striker in Premier League history, still holding their record in the competition with 40 goals to his name.

Jimenez also played a vital role in Wolves’ Europa League campaigns, with the clinical centre-forward firing 57 goals in 166 appearances for the Old Gold before leaving to join Fulham in 2023.

Now a bagsman at Craven Cottage with 11 goals to his name in 2024/25, supporters will always remember what he achieved in Wolverhampton, and now the 34-year-old has made a confession about the club that fans will love.

Molineux is Raul Jimenez’s favourite Premier League stadium

Although he’s approaching the twilight years of his career, some fans have openly said they’d like Jimenez to return to Wolves.

That is unlikely to happen this summer as the Mexican recently triggered his contract extension at Fulham, meaning he will continue playing a starring role in Marco Silva’s squad in 2025/26.

Jimenez has truly made himself at home in West London, becoming a cult hero on their mission to qualify for Europe, but he still holds Wolves close to his heart.

When asked to name his favourite Premier League ground that wasn’t Craven Cottage, the veteran replied: “I would say Molineux, Wolves, I spent a lot of time there, so that’s why I like it really much.”

Supporters will be pleased that Jimenez has fond memories of playing at Molineux, as he experienced some unbelievable moments at the club while cementing himself as an icon of the club.

Jimenez’s goal record since leaving Wolves

Jimenez is a model professional who continues to look in peak condition even at the age of 34.

It says a lot when he’s still scoring goals in the Premier League, even after the serious head injury he suffered in the clash against Arsenal in 2020.

At the time, it was feared that he may never play again however, the resilience he showed to come back was immense and now he’s arguably playing his best football in years.
