Wolves are heading to Spain for their latest friendly clash against Girona on Saturday, and the fixture could involve Goncalo Guedes.
After another testing campaign at Molineux, Guedes was placed on the transfer list with claims that multiple clubs were interested in his signature.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Guedes was in advanced talks with Real Sociedad, suggesting he was set for a return to Spain.
However, the 28-year-old was on the scoresheet for Wolves during their 3-1 defeat to RC Lens on Wednesday night, which prompted question marks over where his future lies.
Now, with the squad flying out to Spain for the next leg of their pre-season preparations, Guedes has dropped a hint on social media.

It was only last week when Guedes hinted at possibly staying at Wolves, in what was a rare interview with the club’s media channels.
There were even claims that Guedes looked ‘happy’ in training and was eyeing a redemption campaign at Molineux after multiple seasons of inconsistency.
But, of course, with rumours of his exit entering an advanced stage, many accepted that the forward was going to move on.
That being said, it appears the former Valencia star is still focused on his preparations with Wolves, as he posted a picture of himself smiling on Instagram next to teammate Toti Gomes.

While a flight to Spain seems ominous amid links to Real Sociedad, surely if Guedes were closing in on a move elsewhere, he would have been exiled from the squad.
Time will tell whether the Portuguese attacker leaves the club this summer, but after scoring on Wednesday, it wouldn’t be a shock if he played a prominent role against Girona.
Wolves should only offload Guedes if a replacement is lined up
The transfer window has offered Wolves some disappointment, however, with David Moller Wolfe close to joining for £10 million, Pereira will have plugged the left wing-back role following Rayan Ait-Nouri’s exit.
Encouragingly, it means the Old Gold can quickly move on to investing in other positions, most notably at right wing-back, central midfield and centre-forward.
As Jorgen Strand Larsen is the first choice and Wolves’ talisman, the Norwegian requires some support, something Hwang Hee-chan and Guedes offered him last term.
While both struggled to impact games in Pereira’s system, the Wanderers should only offload Guedes or Hwang once a forward is brought in.
Wolves are already light on forward options, so it only makes sense to sanction more transfer exits if players are arriving.
