Perry Groves has given his verdict on Rob Edwards joining Wolves, and he believes a specific detail must have been discussed with Fosun.
Rob Edwards is coming into a bleak situation, and pulling the club out of the relegation zone will be no easy task.
There are key things Edwards must avoid doing, but when a team is struggling, that can be difficult.
The Old Gold have just two points from 11 matches, and with them being eight points from 17th place, you could not fault fans for being pessimistic.
Edwards has been handed a three-year deal, so Fosun clearly believes he is the man for the long term and has made their first promise to Edwards.
Following the events of the last week, Perry Groves has made an assumption about that contract he has been given.

Perry Groves thinks Rob Edwards has a clause that means he won’t be sacked
The situation Wolves are in is not the fault of Rob Edwards, and it would be unfair for him to lose his job based on the work of his predecessor.
However, many have criticised him for taking on such a big challenge when things at Middlesbrough were going so well, with Simon Jordan in particular going on a rant about Edwards.
Former Arsenal man Perry Groves is another one of those who has been left confused by the decision and believes it does not make sense but that there must be a hidden clause.
Are you confident Rob Edwards will help Wolves avoid relegation?
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Groves said, “On the football side of it, I don’t think it makes any sense because of the structure of the football club because of the stability.
Going to Wolves, he is in a no-lose situation. If they go down, which I think they will do, it is not his fault because they are not his players, and he has gone in there where they have got two points after 11 games, and they have stunk the place out.
“I’d imagine that with Fosun, he would have a clause in his contract – and if he hasn’t, then his agent hasn’t done his job properly – that he will not be sacked if they get relegated.”
Big week ahead for Rob Edwards with Crystal Palace looming
Rob Edwards will be with most of his squad when he takes his first training session, which appears to be on Monday based on the new boss’s first meeting with some of the players.
There are currently 11 members of the squad away on international duty, but key players such as Andre and Joao Gomes will be around.
It is a great time for the former Wales international to have a closer look at his squad and get to work as soon as possible ahead of the weekend.
However, the likes of Jorgen Strand Larsen and David Moller Wolfe will likely join up on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Jhon Arias will have to wait until Thursday or Friday, with Colombia playing in New York in the early hours of Wednesday.
