Pedro Neto names the teammate he'd have on the back of his Wolves shirt

Pedro Neto has taken a brief moment out of his recovery programme to participate in Wolves’ ongoing Fantasy Football series.

The segment sees players from the club answer a range of hypothetical questions.

As fantastic as Neto is on the pitch, he also has a cracking personality, and his replies make for interesting reading.

He was asked which manager he’d love to play under and which stadium he’d like to play at, to which he replied Pep Guardiola and the Santiago Bernabeu.

He was also asked which team he’d like to see in the Premier League, and he answered with his former side Braga.

When it came to which player Neto would have on the back of his Wolves shirt, the winger overlooked all of his Portuguese compatriots, instead plumping for talisman Raul Jimenez.

He said: “I would pick Raul Jimenez. He’s the one who scores the goals, he’s great to watch, I enjoy his game and he’s a brilliant teammate.”

He certainly does score the goals; to date, Jimenez has banged in 48 in 110 appearances in old gold.

Neto and Jimenez partnership can’t come soon enough

Neto clearly has great respect for Jimenez, as is the case probably with everyone in that dressing room.

It’ll be a brilliant sight to see the pair eventually playing at the same time again.

Those two, along with Adama Traore of course, are the biggest threats at Bruno Lage’s disposal.

Hopefully, new loan signing Francisco Trincao can step up to the plate in Neto’s absence.
