Jose Sa officially signed a new deal with Wolves this week, and his teammates have been reacting.
Wolves‘ number one has enjoyed a strong start to the season in spite of the struggles at Molineux.
Jose Sa signs a new contract which will run until 2027, with the option for a further year written into the contract.
This ensures one of Wolves’ top performers in recent years will be remaining at the club long term.
Following the announcement, his teammates couldn’t hold back their delight.

After the deal was announced, Sa took to Instagram with the following message: “What a great pleasure to sign another year with this club, with this family. Once a WOLF always a WOLF.”
In the comments Pedro Neto reacted to the news as he wrote, “What a beautiful thing” followed by heart eyes emojis. Clearly delighted to see his fellow Portuguese national remain.
Pablo Sarabia was another who sent a message writing “Congratulations”, with a heart and clapping emoji afterward.
While his goalkeeping teammate Tom King simply commented “Very Good”.
Hobbs on the new contract
Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs said to club media: “We’re excited that Jose will be part of this next stage and cycle we’ll be going through, and he’ll play an important role in that, on and off the pitch. He’s excited by what we’re trying do, but also understands that people like him, in his position, are really important for us.
“It’s something that he’s earnt. He’s been a really important player to us and a leader off the pitch and is improving all the time. It’s a reward for his hard work primarily, but also shows his importance to us.
“He can see where the club are going and what we’re looking to do over the next few windows, so he was excited by that also. He’s a winner, is someone who shoulders responsibility, and wants us to move forward.”
