Wolves are back in Premier League action tonight, with Nottingham Forest the opponents at Molineux.
Vitor Pereira will be hoping to get 2025 off to the perfect start by beating Forest and old Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
But winning tonight will be tough.
Forest have been superb this season and are currently flying high in third place in the Premier League table.
But there’s newfound optimism at Wolves following Pereira’s arrival, and there is belief three points can be taken against Forest.
Prospective new signing Emmanuel Agbadou is expected to be at Molineux tonight, ahead of his transfer to the club from Reims so hopefully, the players can get a result in front of their soon-to-be new teammate.
Mario Lemina spotted in Wolves training ahead of Nottingham Forest game

One man we may be seeing for the first time in a few weeks is Mario Lemina.
Wolves released some new footage on Saturday of the players training at Compton Park ahead of the game with Forest.
And interestingly, Lemina can be seen taking part in the session.
Lemina has missed Wolves’ last three games due to injury, and has yet to play any minutes under Pereira.
On Friday at his press conference, Pereira had actually cast doubt on Lemina’s potential to be involved against Forest. When asked if he would be available, he said: “I think not.
“Step by step, the squad is short and I’m trying to find solutions. But I cannot risk a player because I need him for the next game. I don’t like to push them.
“The player must come to me and say they are ready to help the team.”
Lemina in line for first minutes under Pereira?
It’s interesting that Lemina has been seen in full training as normal ahead of the game with Forest.
It’s unclear when exactly the footage of the players training was taken, but it probably came from either Friday – the day Pereira spoke about Lemina – or Saturday.
It will be fascinating to see if he’s in that matchday squad tonight, especially because Lemina is heavily linked with Al-Shabab at the moment. It’s thought Lemina is keen on the move.
Pereira did say Lemina is still ‘in our plans’, but we know things can obviously change very quickly in the transfer window.
Given we’ve now seen him in training ahead of tonight’s game, it will be very telling if he’s not involved tonight.
Surely if he’s not involved it’ll be because of the speculation about Al-Shabab and not injury.
