Wolves are seeking to make it four straight wins in the Premier League, but face a stern test in the form of Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
Gary O’Neil‘s side are finally back in league action tonight, having not featured in the competition since December 30.
Wolves have only played against Brentford in the FA Cup so far this calendar year, drawing the first game 1-1 and then winning the replay 3-2 after extra-time, with Matheus Cunha outstanding at Molineux.
Wolves are starting to look really good under O’Neil.
But this will be a tough game, against a Brighton side who play great football under Roberto De Zerbi.
Paul Merson makes score prediction for Brighton vs Wolves

In recent times, Brighton have tended to get the better of Wolves.
The Seagulls have won each of the last four meetings, and scored at least three goals in each of those meetings.
In the reverse fixture back in August, Brighton ran out comfortable 4-1 winners at Molineux, with Wolves turning in one of their worst displays of the season.
But Wolves are a different outfit now, with O’Neil knowing his players much better and obviously the team come into the game in much better form.
But that doesn’t count for too much for Paul Merson, who is feeling a Brighton win tonight. Predicting a 3-2 home win, he said (Sportskeeda): “I predict a lorry load of goals in this one, so I’m going for a 3-2 home win. Neither of these two sides are really playing for anything in terms of their league positions, so they can come out and express themselves on the pitch.”
Before making his prediction, Merson did brand O’Neil ‘absolutely unreal’ for the job he has done so far at Molineux.
Brighton will provide a good measure of where Wolves are right now
So Wolves are gunning for a fourth straight Premier League win, but must defeat Brighton tonight in order to get three points.
Wolves have made huge improvements in recent weeks, but this will undoubtedly be a hard game.
Brighton have been such a refreshing side to watch over the last couple of years or so under Graham Potter first and now Roberto De Zerbi, who picked out four Wolves players for praise yesterday.
It is safe to say that they will be a good measure of where Wolves really are right now, and a win tonight will start to get fans pretty excited, with three points enough to take the club into the top half.
