Wolves have their biggest game of the season so far on Saturday as they welcome Southampton to Molineux.
Wolves still haven’t won in the league this season and fans are growing increasingly concerned.
This weekend sees fellow strugglers the Saints come to Molineux, and it’s a game that could have repercussions for both managers.
Both Gary O’Neil and Russell Martin are under huge pressure, and whoever doesn’t win could well be sacked. It is not out of the question both could be sacked if it ends in a draw.
Wolves fans expressed their frustration as a report claimed Fosun are ‘reluctant’ to sack O’Neil, with many feeling he has now overstayed his welcome.
Ahead of the game, pundit Paul Merson has offered his thoughts.
Paul Merson tips Wolves to beat Southampton comfortably

Many Wolves fans fear the team will come up short against the Saints due to the pressure surrounding the players and the manager.
But Merson believes that Wolves will finally get their first win on the board.
Predicting a rather emphatic 3-0 home win, he told Sportskeeda: “Wolves are struggling at the moment. But I don’t think they are as bad as people think. I believe they play good football, it’s just that they also shoot themselves in the foot at times.
“This is a massive game for Gary O’Neil because it’s the international break coming up. If he loses at home to Southampton, that would be a big problem.”

Last-chance saloon for O’Neil at Wolves?
It cannot be overstated how big and important this game against Southampton is on Saturday.
It is simply must-win for O’Neil and he will probably know that himself, as much as he will probably try to play that down ahead of the contest.
Losing is inconceivable, and drawing is not good enough.

Southampton have really struggled this season and this is a golden opportunity for three much-needed points for Wolves.
With the next international break taking place after this round of fixtures, the Wolves hierarchy may well be tempted to make a managerial change if O’Neil has not beaten Southampton.
