Wolves are back down in the capital this weekend as they seek to beat West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Wolves played out a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend, which was a fairly disappointing result considering the Reds’ form and the fact the game was at Molineux.
Wanderers had most of the ball but didn’t really threaten Forest that often.
But good character was shown to come back into the game, after Harry Toffolo had broken the deadlock.
Up next for Wolves is a West Ham side that have been somewhat erratic this season, and their 5-0 defeat to Fulham last weekend should give the visitors some confidence…
Paul Merson makes score prediction for West Ham v Wolves

West Ham have won four of the last six Premier League meetings with Wolves and ultimately they have got some really dangerous players.
Their defeat to Fulham last weekend was surprising to see, because they’d picked up some good results just before that.
Wolves can get to within a point of the Hammers in the table with a victory on Sunday, and that needs to be the motivation for Gary O’Neil’s men.
Paul Merson has been previewing the weekend’s games, and he doesn’t believe there will be anything to separate the two teams. Predicting a 1-1 draw, he said (Sportskeeda): “West Ham are a bag of revels. They somehow managed to beat Tottenham against the odds but got absolutely blown away by Fulham. Wolves, on the other hand, are a dangerous team and have earned respect under Gary O’Neil.
“They’d be a lot higher up the table if it wasn’t for a handful of close VAR calls, but when I look at the players across the two sides, I can’t separate these two sides, at least on paper. Wolves play better football, while West Ham have a few matchwinners who can show up at any time.
“There isn’t much between these two teams, so I’m going for a 1-1 draw.”
Wolves should have a go
Sunday’s game will be very interesting because there two teams are fairly evenly matched in terms of quality.
That crushing defeat West Ham had against Fulham needs to be the fuel for Wolves, who have managed to take four points from their last two Premier League games.
It would be nice to see Gary O’Neil instruct his side to just go for it, even though the game is away from home and the temptation may be to just sit in and try to counter.
West Ham have shipped 30 goals so far in the league this season, which is four more than Wolves. Only the three teams currently in the relegation zone – Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United – have conceded more so far, so they are there to be got at.
