Wolves have to beat Burnley to give themselves any chance of an escape from the relegation zone, and the Opta supercomputer has given their prediction of if that will happen.
Vitor Pereira’s job is no doubt under pressure, and if the Old Gold end the weekend nine games without a win, then the already pessimistic fanbase will truly start to think about Championship football next season.
There are some reasons to be hopeful with Scott Parker having a terrible record against the Wanderers. However, the players will have to get the job done on the pitch.
Now, the Opta supercomputer could provide even more optimism as its verdict on Sunday’s clash is in.

It seems the data powerhouse is confident the Old Gold will finally break their run of having zero wins in the Premier League.
Vitor Pereira’s side have been named the overwhelming favourites and picking up the win in 50 per cent of the simulations.
A Burnley win is the least likely outcome at 24.8 per cent; meanwhile, a draw happens 25.3 per cent of the time.

Last week, the supercomputer was correct in picking Sunderland as winners, but the week before, a draw against Brighton was the unlikeliest outcome.
It has had a mixed bag when it comes to predicting Wolves, but every Old Gold fan will be hoping it is right once more against the Clarets.
Burnley are not great opponents for Wolves
In recent history, Wolves have struggled against the Clarets.
The Old Gold have won just one of their last nine Premier League meetings against the Turf Moor side, with that win coming in 2023.
Hwang Hee-chan scored the only goal of the game.
Other than that, it has been four draws and four losses in the other eight meetings, and Vitor Pereira will be hoping to add another win to that tally instead.
It is an important game, so let us all get behind the team and give them the best chance of succeeding.
