Wolves’ losing streak in the Premier League must end at some point, as going a whole season without a win seems unfathomable.
Rob Edwards will be hoping that Saturday afternoon is the day for it. After a good performance against Arsenal, there are plenty of reasons for optimism.
Brentford could be without some key players, and that is a boost for the Wanderers’ chances. However, Keith Andrews is relishing his return to Molineux.
And those exact chances have now been rated by the Opta supercomputer ahead of this weekend’s showdown.
💭 Agree or Disagree: With Brentford likely missing some key attackers on Saturday, Rob Edwards should go bold and play a back four!
Opta have rated Wolves as underdogs against Brentford

It is not entirely unexpected, but Wolves are being tipped as underdogs heading into Saturday’s match.
The Wanderers come into the game in 20th place, with Brentford 18 points ahead in 15th.
The strong performance against Arsenal has seemed to do little to change perspective, as Opta’s supercomputer has simulated this match-up.
The Old Gold have been handed just a 26.7% chance at securing their first win of the Premier League season, with Brentford taking 49.6%.
A draw between the two sides is the least likely outcome, at 23.7%.
Can Wolves finally win a Premier League game this weekend?
The Bees have the recent advantage…
However, it is only a computer, and Wolves’ chances of a draw against Arsenal were slim as well, and if it were not for some fluke own goals, they could have beaten the odds.
If Brentford score first, Wolves should not let their heads drop
There have been some good starts to games for Wolves this season, but once the opposition manages to score, they have often collapsed.
However, against Brentford, they must quickly pick their heads up if the same happens.
That is because Brentford have dropped more points from winning positions than any other side in the Premier League this season (13).
So even if the Bees go a goal ahead, there is still history that points towards a chance of a good result.
But at this stage, a point would do little for Wolves’ long-shot prospects of surviving relegation, and nothing other than a win will suffice.
