Fabio Silva has put in a stunning performance for Portugal under 21’s with two goal contributions in their 3-0 win.
The 21-year-old was superb as he led Portugal to victory over Andorra which puts them into second place in their group.
This a remarkable position to be given they’ve only played one game, compared with Andorra’s four.
Gary O’Neil would have been very encouraged to see the expensive youngster ripping it up.
The question is can he translate this into his club form and make good finally on his huge transfer fee.

Silva on fire for Portugal
Silva has been really hit and miss in his career so far, despite seeming to be a bright player early on.
However last season saw him loaned out twice and also saw him perform on both occasions.
This put him firmly into the clubs plans for the upcoming season, but despite this he is the only forward yet to contribute to a goal in the league.
His Portugal form however namely a goal and an assist in one game, will have O’Neil hoping he is about the see the best version of Silva emerge.
Can he do it for Wolves?
Silva is yet to bag a goal for Wolves in the Premier League, but has scored in the League Cup.
However despite his lack of goals, he has been getting into the positions and getting the chances, just failing to convert.
Two big chances missed in the opening four games epitomise his struggles.
This however can’t last forever as he has shown a finishing touch and it does feel only a matter of time until he kicks into gear and bags a Premier League goal.
