‘Nuno vibes’… Wolves fans just cannot get enough of one thing Vitor Pereira does

Wolves are in the ascendency, after beating West Ham United to go 12 points clear of the relegation zone, and Vitor Pereira is the man of the moment.

Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal in the first-half saw Wolves make it seven points from the last three Premier League games.

The game was far from a classic.

Wolves started slow, then finished the first-half well with some slick passing.

But West Ham improved after the break, and made life difficult for the hosts. The game became disrupted, and Wolves couldn’t really find their flow.

But they got the job done, and it’s now over to Ipswich Town and Leicester City to respond tonight.

Last night, the Wolves players on the bench mobbed Vitor Pereira when the final whistle blew, and scenes of jubilation ensued.

This was a very significant result and everyone knew it – especially Pereira.

Towards the end of the game his passion was there for all to see – and fans absolutely loved to see it.

After he was mobbed, Pereira then whipped up the home crowd into a frenzy with a few fist pumps, as he lapped up Wolves’ latest victory.

Journalist Liam Keen reported (via E&S) that Pereira ‘was kicking and heading every ball with them’, and that Molineux was the loudest it has been all season in the last five minutes of the game.

Pereira’s love for what he does is crystal clear, and fans on social media could not get enough of how wild he got towards the end of last night’s game.

@ChrissyySWRLD said: “Vitor gives me absolute goosebumps oh my.”

@pedalsingh added: “Creating a culture where everyone’s determined to give the same energy. Together.”

@jameswyork said: “I am starting to feel he has Nuno vibes. Liking.”

@Brunneursi said: “I love this man omg.”

Fosun have to back Pereira at Wolves

It has been a trend since Nuno Espirito Santo left the club that Wolves managers have complained about a lack of depth available to them.

Fosun have had to navigate some challenges over the last few years, but the consensus is that they have not provided good enough investment to allow the club to kick on.

Hence, why Wolves have finished in the bottom half of the table for the past couple of years.

Pereira is showing himself to be a very capable Premier League manager.

And the passion he shows is really warming him to the supporters.

If he is handed the tools he needs this summer, Wolves could genuinely go places under this manager, so hopefully we’ll see a slight change in approach from the owners.

That said, it was reported recently that Fosun do want to adopt their self-sustaining model again this summer, so we’ll see what transpires.
