Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting the latest update on Raul Jimenez, with the striker having started training outdoors again.

The Mexico international is making great progress in his recovery following the skull fracture he suffered against Arsenal back in November.

The £30 million signing (BBC Sport) has been keeping supporters up to date with his progress via his Instagram, uploading pictures of him in the gym.

Jimenez tweeted a picture of himself training outside with a ball at his feet last week, and Nuno has given some more information today on his condition.

He said at his press conference (via the club’s official website): “He’s training most of the sessions individually. He’s been able to integrate in some parts of the beginning of training sessions, like boxes and some technical exercises, so he’s getting better.

“He’s improving really well, we have to be very careful and follow the protocols, but we’re keeping positive because he’s doing very we.”

There is hope that Jimenez will be able to feature again before the current season is out, with Nuno having recently said ‘we are truly positive this can happen’.

On social media, the latest update has obviously gone down fantastically with Wolves supporters, many of whom are desperate to see him back amid the team’s struggles:
