Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has hinted there could be a returning player in tomorrow’s matchday squad to face Manchester City.
Wolves are looking to continue their good form in the league, having taken 11 points from the last 15 available.
But Nuno’s players will seriously have their work cut out against City, who are absolutely rampant at the moment.

It’s 20 consecutive wins across all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side, and 27 unbeaten.
They’re scoring goals aplenty, keeping clean sheets and barely conceding chances.

But Wolves recorded two victories over City last season, and one wonders if Adama Traore can step up to the plate again.

Nuno was asked about the state of play in his press conference today, and gave a rather cryptic answer about his matchday squad tomorrow.
When asked, ‘Assuming you say the squad is the same, are (Daniel) Podence, (Willy) Boly and (Fernando) Marcal out tomorrow, he replied ‘You can assume… but you cannot be sure’ (via Wolves reporter for The Athletic Tim Spiers).
A surprise name tomorrow?
It’s not uncommon for players to return to action for Wolves without the club stating that’s what will be happening beforehand.
It’s already happened with Willy Boly and Jonny so far this season.

The club tend to keep the cards close to the chest in these matters sometimes.
So it would be no surprise to see one of the three injured players make the bench tomorrow night – one would think Podence and maybe Boly would be more likely than Marcal, who recently had another surgery on his thigh.
