Wolves manager Vitor Pereira revealed one unwanted change he has noticed in his squad.
The Old Gold are up against it in the Premier League, sitting marginally above the bottom three with a host of challenging fixtures approaching.
First, Wolves welcome Arsenal to Molineux and will aim to get their first points on the board in 2025, which will be a big ask.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta shared the difference he’s noticed at Wolves since Vitor Pereira’s arrival however, the boss has identified something rather different.

Change Vitor Pereira spotted in Wolves squad after recent defeat
Wolves are without a point in 2025, putting pressure on Pereira’s side to deliver in upcoming games.
With Premier League survival on the line, there’s limited room for error, with performance level certainly needing to improve following the recent defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Reflecting on Wolves’ 3-1 loss against Chelsea in the capital, Pereira admitted that he’d noticed that something significant had ‘changed’ within his squad.
“I want my team to play in the way that we should play. The last game, in my opinion, was not a good game from us because we changed a lot of our behaviours,” Pereira told the media, via Express and Star.
Several key Wolves players underperformed against Chelsea, with Pereira calling Matheus Cunha out for his behaviour after the game.
The Wolves manager offered more depth upon noticing changes in his players, disclosing how unhappy the overall performance made him.
“This is not what I want from my team. I want identity. I want us to try to play in our way, not to react to the other team.
“This is a very difficult league. We improve as a team with time, but it’s important to believe in ourselves, to believe in what we are doing, and to play in the way that we work every day.”
After recording a defeat against Chelsea, another testing fixture awaits the Old Gold as Arsenal visit Molineux, with change certainly required.
No time for unwanted change at Wolves
Several Wolves players noticed almost immediate improvement when Pereira replaced Gary O’Neil at the helm.
Nelson Semedo was one player who applauded Pereira, opening up about the positivity that the Portuguese installed in the squad.

Pereira’s record-breaking start to life at Wolves seems a long time ago, with the honeymoon period certainly over for the manager.
The last thing that the 56-year-old needs right now is a change in his players, who must be seeking redemption for their lacklustre displays when Arsenal come to visit.
