One Wolves player who hasn’t really been spoken much about this summer is Bruno Jordao – and it seems as though he isn’t about to enjoy a renaissance at Molineux despite a change of manager.
Jordan spent last season on loan at Portuguese outfit Santa Clara.
He only made 11 appearances for them, before returning to Wolves this summer.
Jordao is a curious case.
He was signed at the same time, and from the same club as, Pedro Neto.
But he’s unfortunately been plagued by injuries since his arrival.
Some have wondered if there is any potential for Jordao to become an option for Gary O’Neil.
That seems very doubtful, given what journalist Liam Keen had to say on the player on the latest Express & Star podcast…
Bruno Jordao very unlikely to play for Wolves’ first-team again
Jordao was a top of conversation on the latest Express & Star podcast.
Jordao has only ever made five first-team appearances for Wolves.

But it doesn’t look like he will be adding to that tally.
Keen said on his potential to become an option for O’Neil: “From everyone I’ve spoken to around the club who’s dealt with him, he seems a really nice guy. As far as I’m aware, and it’s difficult to say for certain, he’s never really kicked up a fuss or caused any problems, he seems like a decent chap. But it just hasn’t really worked out for him.
“It think he’s clearly not up to the level, he’s had injuries as well. Some of the loans he’s been on haven’t really worked out either. He’s not going to play for Wolves, unless something miraculous happens and O’Neil suddenly takes a shine to him. But I don’t think that’s going to be happening. He’s not going to be playing for Wolves. The likelihood is that he goes at some point. The chances of him playing for Wolves again are very, very slim.”
Keen suggests it’s possible Jordao could still leave to join a new club this summer, with some windows still open.
There is also potential for Wolves and Jordao to mutually agree to end his contract, of which the player is now into his final year.
Earlier this summer, Jordao had spoken about returning to the first-team picture at Molineux.
Jordao has been unlucky at Wolves
So it looks as though Jordao could soon be moving on from Wolves.
His time at the club has just been very unfortunate.
His injury problems have meant he’s always been unable to build momentum and have a shot at being a first-team option.

He was rated fairly highly when he joined alongside Neto.
But it just hasn’t worked out and now there are a lot of midfield options at Molineux, making a renaissance practically impossible.
