Noha Lemina leaves Wolves teammates amazed in training

Wolves fans are hoping to see Noha Lemina at some point in the next few months for the first-team – and the youngster appears to have made a big impression already at Compton Park.

Noha signed for the club last month, joining from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan.

Matt Hobbs said at the time of his signing that Noha is under zero pressure at the club, and ‘it’s purely a chance to look at an exciting young talent’.

Noha is training with the first-team and the hope is that he will start making Gary O’Neil’s matchday squads soon.

How soon that will be remains to be seen but so far, all the signs a pretty good…

Wolves have today released some footage of training at Compton Park, with the team going through the gears ahead of the game with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Wanderers won the reverse fixture back at Molineux earlier in the season, after late goals from Pablo Sarabia and Mario Lemina.

O’Neil will hope for another performance like that, as he seeks a positive result after the disappointing defeat to Brentford.

It is perhaps unlikely that Noha will be in the squad, although who knows with Matheus Cunha now out for the foreseeable.

Mario’s younger brother is a wide forward, so there’s a chance O’Neil will be considering him.

He certainly looks lively, with Wolves sharing footage of two goals he scored in training this week.

In the clip, some players are doing a finishing exercise, and Noha scores two amazing goals, one with each foot into the top corner, with those present gasping at the quality.

Promising signs over Noha Lemina

Wolves appear to have signed a player with serious potential in Noha Lemina.

It was reported recently that he had already impressed people in training, and Gary O’Neil did brand him ‘an exciting young talent’ who is both ‘powerful’ and ‘fast’. Mario alluded to this turn of pace when he introduced him to Pedro Neto in the canteen on his first day at Compton.

These two finishes are absolutely brilliant. The technique on show here from one so young is seriously impressive, and hopefully we can see this in games for Wolves before long.

It’s possible he could still be a little way off becoming involved in matchday squads.

But maybe, just maybe, Cunha’s injury could potentially open the door for him to get some opportunities here and there.
