Conor Coady has received a huge compliment, with Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher placing the Wolves captain in their joint Premier League Team of 2020.
The ex-defenders were on Monday Night Football last night reflecting back on what’s been a crazy calendar year.
The pair were tasked with providing an XI they believe has been the best over the past 12 months, with Coady making it in alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Alisson was their goalkeeper, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson the full-backs.
In midfield, they plumped for Kevin De Bruyne, Jordan Henderson and Bruno Fernandes.

And up front, they chose Mo Salah, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
It is a nice moment for Coady, who really has had a tremendous 2020.
The captain has largely been fantastic at the heart of Wolves’ defence this year, showing amazing leadership, consistency and durability.
His fine form led to a first England cap in August, and it appears to be widely accepted that Coady is just a solid Premier League defender these days.
It’s been a tricky start for Wolves in 2020/21, and hopefully in 2021, Coady can again stand up to be counted for and help the team become a solid outfit once more.
