Wolves full-back Nelson Semedo produced a terrific performance for Portgual last night, as Fernando Santos’ side edged a five-goal thriller in Split.

Semedo came in for particular praise for his performance having looked superb at right-back.
The star, who recently celebrated his 27th birthday, received an 8.01 rating from WhoScored after making four tackles, two interceptions, one clearance, one key pass, six dribbles and 46/56 passes at an accuracy of 82%.

Semedo won 16/17 of his total duels in the match (SofaScore), and his display was described by SportsKeeda as ‘superb’. They also stated he was a ‘reliable attacking outlet’.
A big positive for Wolves
Semedo’s strong final performance of the international break is a big positive for Wolves.
He is slowly beginning to prove himself at Molineux, and hopefully he can continue to get better and better.
His impressive duels won statistic is particularly encouraging, as some have previously questioned his defensive capabilities.
