Wolves managed to take a point against Brighton at the Amex Stadium, showing terrific character to come from two goals down.
Wolves looked to be on their way to yet another defeat in the Premier League.
Danny Welbeck scored in the first-half for the hosts and Evan Ferguson then doubled their lead in the 85th minute.
But Wolves somehow came back, with Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha getting the goals for the visitors.
The goal by Cunha was arguably the moment of Wolves’ season so far, and has the potential to be the catalyst of the club’s campaign now.
And it would not have come about had it now been for the brilliance of Tommy Doyle.
Doyle was the only player back for Wolves went Ait-Nouri was dispossessed on the left side. Brighton launched a four-on-one attack, but Doyle read the danger brilliantly, and then released Cunha down the right side.
Cunha said he thanked Doyle for his role in the equaliser against Brighton, and told him it was his goal.
After Saturday’s game, a number of Wolves players sent messages to the maestro on social media.
Wolves stars react after Tommy Doyle’s big moment against Brighton

Doyle has felt he should be starting every week for Wolves, and his performance against Brighton was certainly impressive.
He came in in place of Andre against the Seagulls, and Gary O’Neil may now have a hard time dropping him.
Doyle showed great intelligence against Brighton, not just at the end with the goal, but his use of the ball was very.
But that phase of play just before Cunha scored will be very memorable, and some fans sent messages to Doyle after the game. Wolves fans will certainly agree with what Nelson Semedo said in particular.
Nelson Semedo: ‘Absolutely class La 👏’
Jorgen Strand Larsen: ‘Yes laddd😍’
Matheus Cunha: ‘👏’
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde: ‘👏🔥’
Doyle’s best moment for Wolves
There is an argument for this one phase of play being Doyle’s best moment in a Wolves shirt so far.
The goal he scored against Brentford in the FA Cup last season was stunning. But this assist for Cunha was wonderful, and the significance of it could actually be huge for Wolves.
And it was nice to see, because Doyle had missed a really good chance to put Wolves ahead in the game in the first-half, clearing the crossbar with his effort after great work by Cunha down the left.
He also saw Ferguson’s shot go right through his legs for Brighton’s second goal, as he attempted to block the shot.
Doyle has not had a huge amount of starts for Wolves since signing initially on loan. But he definitely needs to play more from this point on.
