Wolves played out a 0-0 draw with Chelsea yesterday in the Premier League.
Bruno Lage’s side held Thomas Tuchel’s side at Molineux, in what was a game of two halves.
Wolves were the better team in the first-half, and took the game to Chelsea.
Daniel Podence actually had the ball in the back of the net at one point.
But because Raul Jimenez – who was in an offside position – had made an attempt to play the ball, the goal didn’t stand.
After the break though, Wolves struggled to show anything in an attacking sense.
It was all Chelsea, and there were fears the game could take a similar path as the matches against Liverpool and Manchester City recently.
One man who was again on fine form was Jose Sa.
The 28-year-old made a brilliant save from Christian Pulisic, who had raced into the Wolves penalty area.
Sa has had busier afternoons, but he showed superb levels of focus in that particular moment.
The result meant he has now recorded seven clean sheets in the Premier League.
He took to Instagram after the game to send a three-word message to fans, writing: “Keep moving forward.”
Nelson Semedo replied, writing in Portuguese ‘Es uma besta’, which translates to ‘You are a beast’.
Jose Sa comes in clutch again for Wolves
Wolves fans are running out of superlatives for Jose Sa.
The star has been an absolute revelation for the club since coming in from Olympiacos as a little-known entity.
Without any shadow of a doubt the £6.8 million star has been one the best goalkeepers in the Premier League so far.
Given the lack of goals in Wolves games this season, his contributions are probably going a bit under the radar.
In fairness, it’s probably because of him that that is the case.
