Nelson Semedo is the latest player to participate in Wolves’ ongoing ‘Fantasy Football’ series on the club’s official website.

The full-back has been asked a set of hypothetical questions from everything from which coach he’d like to play under to which stadium he’d love to play at.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

One of the questions asked the 27-year-old which player he’d choose to manage the Wolves first-team for a game if he had to nominate someone.

Such an individual would require good leadership qualities and a good knowledge of the game.

Perhaps some would expect Semedo to choose someone like Conor Coady.

The club captain acts very managerial on the rare occasion he isn’t on the pitch.

He was yelling instructions during Wolves’ recent game against Las Palmas in Marbella.

But Semedo didn’t plump for Coady.

He said: “[Joao] Moutinho because he has a lot of experience and has very good relationships with all the players. He’s funny, but serious when he has to be.”

In fairness, Moutinho would probably make a very good manager.

The star has enjoyed a tremendous career so far, making over 700 appearances at club level and 135 for Portugal.

He’s won a host of trophies, including Portuguese and French league titles and, of course, Euro 2016.

Not only has Moutinho had a long and distinguished career, he’s played to a brilliant standard.

A lot of Wolves fans say he’s one of the best players to don the shirt at Molineux.

It would be great to see the maestro try his hand at football management – his playing career might just stand him in very good stead should his wish to venture down that road.
