Neil Culter blasts referee’s ‘arrogance’

Once again VAR was in the headlines for Wolves’. In the dying minutes of the game, it seemed as if Wolves managed to rescue a point after Max Kilman headed in a 99th-minute equaliser.

However, despite no protests from West Ham or the away fans, the officials at Stockley Park advised the referee to disallow the goal for a ‘subjective offside’.

Current goalkeeping coach Culter was furious and took his anger to social media after the game. Here, Culter stated that the ‘arrogance’ of the officials is shocking after another decision went against Wolves.

Elsewhere in the world, one former Wolves man is having far better luck. Diego Costa was a highly popular presence at Molineux in his brief time at the club.

The striker was brought in to help keep Wolves in the Premier League which he successfully completed before departing last summer.

Now, the striker plays for Brazilian side Gremio where he is enjoying a great run of form. Since signing, Costa has netted seven times in five appearances as he regains his goalscoring touch.

One bit of bad news on the weekend was Ait-Nouri. The Algerian has been on fire for Wolves as they look to pierce through their current injury crisis.

Against West Ham, Ait-Nouri was the best player on the pitch in the first half before he was forced off with an injury.
