Pedro Lima is one of 29 Wolves players to have flown out to Marbella for pre-season training – and an early verdict has been offered.
The teenager was recently signed from Sport Recife, with a little help from Matheus Cunha.
Lima had been set to make a move to Chelsea. But Wolves stole in for the Brazilian, with the project more aligned with what Lima is about.
Wolves paid around £8.5 million for the starlet, and the club feel he can challenge for a first-team place.
Lima will hopefully be able to settle nice and quickly, and it is undoubtedly a great thing that he – and also Jorgen Strand Larsen and Rodrigo Gomes – have been signed nice and early.
He’s been out on the training pitches this morning – and journalist Nathan Judah has offered his thoughts.
Pedro Lima looking promising early doors as Wolves begin Marbella training camp

Wolves fans are hoping to catch a glimpse at some of the new signings at some point.
Strand Larsen, Lima and Rodrigo are three really positive additions by the club, and there is real optimism that they can all improve the first-team.
Wolves have had their first training session this morning, and journalist Nathan Judah has been present to cast his eye over proceedings – and he offered an encouraging early verdict about Lima.
He said on X: “Pedro Lima in full flow – looking very good. Guedes & Fabio have not travelled.”
Lima is very much seen as a first-team option by Wolves. It may well be that he gets some minutes with the U21s at first.
But there is optimism that he can challenge the likes of Nelson Semedo and Matt Doherty for the right wing-back position. Or right-back position, with O’Neil supposedly considering moving to a back four.
Cunha will be key for Lima
It is good to hear that Lima has already looked quite bright over in Marbella, and fans can’t wait to see him in match action soon.
It is so positive that he’s with the squad already, because this period is crucial for bedding in.
Last season, Wolves hadn’t signed any players at this point and it contributed to a slow start to the season, as well as Julen Lopetegui obviously leaving when he did.
Cunha could be quite key in helping Lima in his transition period.
The attacker obviously helped bring him to the club, and Wolves did release a video recently (above, 11:10) showing the Brazilian making a FaceTime call to his compatriot, welcoming him to Molineux.
Cunha is a fantastic character, and you just know that he’s going to take Lima under his wing at Molineux, as could Wolves’ other Brazilian Joao Gomes.
But Cunha already has that relationship with Lima, and he is bound to help him settle.
