Nathan Collins has shared which Wolves player he found the toughest to play against during his time at Burnley.
The centre-back sat down to partake in a Q&A session for the club’s social media channels.
Collins has just joined Wanderers in a £20 million deal, and has flown straight out to Alicante with his new teammates.
The 21-year-old completed his move relatively quickly in the end,
Wolves and Burnley were in advanced talks on Monday night, and by Tuesday evening the star was confirmed as the club’s first summer signing.
There is a lot of hype about Collins, with Wolves believing they have signed a player with big potential and great character.
The first question Collins was asked in his Q&A was which Wolves player he found the toughest to play against during his short time at Burnley.
The youngster didn’t have to think too hard about his answer, stating Adama Traore was a very difficult opponent.
He said: “It must have been Adama Traore. He was a handful and his pace is blistering. He’s a handful and he’s scary to play against.”
Collins played in both games against Wolves for Burnley last season.
He helped to keep a clean sheet in those games.
Traore only featured in the game at Molineux in December.
No surprises there as Collins names Traore as the toughest Wolves star he faced
Collins naming Traore as the toughest Wolves player he faced comes as no surprise really.
Many players before him have spoken about how hard he is to play against.
The winger is just insanely quick and powerful, and must be an absolute nightmare to try and keep in check.
If Traore could simply improve his end product, and he is now at an age where he really needs to, he could be one of the best wide players in the game.
