Max Kilman has taken to Instagram, after scoring his first goal for Wolves.
The central defender was on target last night in the 2-1 win over Everton at Molineux.
He set Wolves on their way to a fifth victory in the last six matches under Bruno Lage.
He rose highest from a first-half Rayan Ait-Nouri corner, and powered his header beyond Jordan Pickford.
And it was a brilliant all-round performance from Kilman, who has been ever-present under Lage.
Barring the anomaly that was Brentford, he’s played well in every game.
His latest brilliant performance came in front of Gareth Southgate, who was casting his eye over the English players on show ahead of the next international break.
The 24-year-old certainly did his chances of a call-up no harm.
Kilman takes to Instagram after first Wolves goal
Kilman posted on Instagram after his goal and wonderful performance.
He said: “Unbelievable feeling scoring my first goal for Wolves!! A great team performance and a massive 3 points.”
Hundreds of fans congratulated Kilman, who has absolutely deserved to score this season.
The likes of Nelson Semedo, Pedro Neto and Fernando Marcal have all commented so far.
And there was also a random but nice message from Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko, who wrote ‘Congrats bro’.
The Ukraine international, who nearly joined Wolves a couple of years back, was clearly happy for Kilman, who has Ukrainian parents.
