A lot can happen in a year, and it has certainly been a rollercoaster ride at Wolves.
At the moment, the club find itself in the relegation zone in the Premier League, having sacked Gary O’Neil just before Christmas.
Vitor Pereira came in as his replacement and there was an initial bounce.
But Wolves have started to struggle again, and fans are now urging Molineux officials to splash some cash to help the club survive.
One year ago, Wolves were in a brilliant position.
O’Neil had defied the odds after coming in at a really late stage ahead of the new season, and fans were daring to dream about a potential return to Europe.
Wolves were also going well in the FA Cup, and yesterday Matheus Cunha took a trip down memory lane.
Matheus Cunha reacts to one year anniversary of Wolves’ FA Cup win over West Brom

Last season, one of the biggest highlights was when Wolves knocked West Bromwich Albion out of the FA Cup fourth round.
It was the first Black Country Derby in nearly three years, and the first meeting between the two sides in the FA Cup since 2007.
Anticipation for the game was high – and thankfully, Wolves ran out 2-0 winners on the day at the Hawthorns.
Pedro Neto gave Wolves the lead in the first-half, scoring brilliantly after a breakaway by Wolves.
Matheus Cunha then secured the win in the second-half, and went on to do one of the most iconic celebrations from a Wolves player in many years.

The game was somewhat marred when crowd trouble forced the game to be temporarily suspended. West Brom were fined £30,000 in the days after the fiery clash.
But it was an amazing occasion, and one that clearly still sticks with Cunha.
Yesterday, on the one year anniversary of the result, Cunha took to his Instagram Story to acknowledge the game, writing ‘1 year ago. What a day @wolves’.
What a day indeed.
All downhill since West Brom FA Cup win
The win over West Brom evoked feelings that have not really been felt within the fanbase since.
It was an amazing result and day at the Hawthorns but sadly, things started to really go downhill after that.
Wolves did then beat Brighton in the next round, but would crash out of the FA Cup in the next game at the hands of Coventry City, despite being minutes away from winning the game and securing a trip to Wembley.
In the Premier League, O’Neil’s side completely lost momentum, thanks to injuries to key players, and ended up finishing in 14th. Many would have taken that at the start of the season, but it felt disappointing considering where Wolves were.
And of course, we’ve all seen what’s happened this season, despite the best efforts of talisman Cunha.
Wolves are still in the FA Cup after beating Bristol City, but the club’s top-flight status is under real threat right now, and it’s going to take a monumental effort to turn things around.
