Mateus Mane has been the talk of Wolves after he broke into the starting XI over the last couple of weeks.
The 18-year-old has been a true breath of fresh air, revolutionising Wolves’ attack and giving them the much-needed courage and bravery going forward.
The Old Gold have tied Mane down until 2029 with an unannounced contract, and that is excellent news for the Wanderers, with other clubs sure to be sniffing around him.
Mane has received praise throughout the football world since his performance against West Ham. His teammates, Hwang Hee-chan in particular, have raved about the starlet.
And it has not just been his current teammates, but Matheus Cunha, who would have trained with Mane at points, has now sent him a message.
Mateus Mane is said to be contracted to Wolves until 2029, not 2027! Thoughts, Wolves fans?
It's been claimed today that Wolves tied him down to an extended deal when he turned 18 👀
Matheus Cunha congratulates Mateus Mane

Matheus Cunha and Mateus Mane never got to share the pitch in a professional setting at Wolves.
Mane’s only senior appearance while the Brazilian was still at Molineux came in a match where the forward had been taken off, meaning they only just narrowly missed that opportunity.
However, the former Wolves forward is clearly a big fan of the academy graduate, and they would have come to know each other as Mane trained with the first team.
That connection is still evident today, as Cunha left a heartfelt comment under Mane’s latest Instagram post following his impressive showing against West Ham.
The message was in Portuguese, but it translates to “Congratulations, good lad! You deserve it; love to the family.”
Valid or outright crazy? Where do you place Mateus Mane among academy graduates at Wolves?
Early days, but the signs are so promising!
Mane’s impact has been immense, and his first senior goal created new Wolves history.
Rob Edwards has called Mane a leader, and he is starting to fill the void left by Matheus Cunha, but there might be one issue with that.
There are similarities between Mateus Mane and Matheus Cunha, but…
Other than the coincidentally similar first names, there are some comparisons that can be made between the current Wolves man and the former forward.
Both Mateus Mane and Matheus Cunha are confident on the ball, and they always look to progress up the pitch rather than going backwards.
They are not afraid to take a player on and produce a moment of magic for their team with a decisive moment in the final third, as shown by Mane’s Cunha-esque finish vs West Ham.
There are countless other ways you can compare them, but at this stage, it is wise to rein them in a little bit.
It is still early days, and it would be unfair to put such a weight on the youngster’s shoulders right now. Let him enjoy his football first and foremost.
If his trajectory continues to skyrocket as it has, then we can start the comparisons.
