Matheus Cunha is set to leave Wolves this summer, with speculation rife that Manchester United are trying to sign him.
The Brazilian has had another very influential season at Molineux, scoring 14 Premier League goals so far.
He has certainly played his part in helping Wolves to stave off relegation.
The feeling is that Cunha is now playing his final games for the club. And Manchester United have been in talks with Cunha about a summer move.
The star is thought to want the move, and Wolves are open to negotiating a payment structure over Cunha’s release clause.
Amid the speculation, Cunha took to his Instagram Story earlier today to send a message.

Matheus Cunha sends new message on Instagram as Man United links intensify

Wolves fans get nervous whenever Cunha makes a new post on social media.
Ahead of the game with Tottenham, Cunha made a post on Instagram before swiftly deleting it. He said: “Time to be happy. I will follow my dreams and yours… So stay cool.”
He then scored in the win over Spurs, and Cunha appeared to apologise to fans through his goal celebration.
Some feel he should simply stay off social media, but the player has made a new post today, and it may or may not reference the current transfer speculation about him.
In an Instagram Story post, Cunha took a picture of himself in the gym mirror, with Yerson Mosquera and Nelson Semedo in the background. He tagged both players.
He said in the post: “Vamos Trabalhar né (Let’s work shall we). Too much conversation 🤣🗣️🗣️”
Cunha just can’t help himself
If there is one thing Wolves fans have learned about Cunha this season, it’s that he is extremely aware of the talk surrounding him.
He clearly keeps himself up to date about what is written about him, and perhaps that has not really helped his cause.
He will get his move away from Wolves this summer.
But going forward he needs to be advised better. Certainly, if he does join United, everything will ramp up even more and the microscope will really be on him.
Cunha could be leaving Wolves in the same way as Ruben Neves, had he just kept his head down.
Now, most are simply ready for him to leave.
