Wolves were nominated for multiple Premier League awards in November after earning seven points from four matches.
While it may seem a long time ago, Wolves had a decent November which did see them rise out of the relegation zone for a period.
However, a series of humiliating defeats has quickly seen the Old Gold sink back to 19th in the Premier League.
While Gary O’Neil is undoubtedly under pressure, he is set to get the Ipswich game on Saturday in hopes he can turn the club’s form around.
One player he won’t have to worry about is Matheus Cunha who was bizarrely snubbed from two Premier League awards this week.
Matheus Cunha left puzzled after not winning Premier League Goal of the Month

Easily Wolves’ best player in November was Cunha. The Brazilian forward was central to the club’s only two Premier League victories of the campaign as he picked up six goal contributions in four games.
This saw Cunha nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month Award for November where he lost out to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
On top of this, the attacker also got onto the Premier League Goal of the Month shortlist with each of his three strikes being nominated.
Yet, despite scoring a rocket past Southampton as well as two incredible goals against Fulham, he was not picked as the winner.
Instead, Fulham’s Harry Wilson won the award for his strike past Brentford.
Cunha clearly was not impressed with this outcome as he left a puzzled comment on Instagram as seen below.
Wolves will struggle to keep hold of Matheus Cunha

Cunha became a record-breaker in the Premier League when earned three goals nominations in a single month. No player had ever done this before as he showcased his talent throughout November.
There are hopes that the club could keep hold of the Brazilian beyond the summer but in reality, their chances seem bleak.
Wolves are planning on offering Cunha a new contract. However, much of it will depend on whether the Old Gold can stay in the Premier League.
As it stands, this seems unlikely, but if Cunha can consistently perform for the Wanderers, the club may have a chance.
