‘Massive quality’: Sasa Kalajdzic really wants to play in same team as £44m Wolves teammate

Sasa Kalajdzic has returned this season following his long injury lay-off and has already shown glimpses of his quality.

The big Austrian forward only managed a few minutes last season following his move from Stuttgart in what is believed to have been a £15million move.

He has started this season well with two goals in all competitions already, including the vitally important late winner against Everton.

Now in an interview with Liam Keen, the striker has explained his excitement at linking up with some of his teammates at Wolves this season.

More specifically his excitement to play with his attacking peers Fabio Silva and Matheus Cunha.

Sasa on wanting to his attacking peers

Sasa believes that there is a wealth of talent in the attacking department at Molineux.

As reported by the Shropshire Star, Sasa explained that he has already seen the qualities he likes in his teammates.

He began: “I think we can make some decent link-ups. I’ve already seen Fabio’s quality.

“Cunha, we don’t have to talk about it, he has massive quality and we already have had a lot of training sessions together.”

Continuing in a raving review of the £44m man Cunha, Sasa explained he and Cunha have always admired eachother.

“I know him from Germany, we played against each other, we respect each other and like each other.

“I hope we can have a nice link-up, but we’re different player types and it’s about the results and performance in the end. I’m trying to do everything to be there.”

Can Wolves kick on?

Despite believing there is a lot of talent in the Wolves attacking quartet, we have so far only seen glimpses.

Four goals have been scored by Wolves in the Premier League, however impressively all the goals have came from the attack.

Hee-Chan Hwang has two, Cunha and Sasa both have one each while Silva is goalless so far.

This will give Gary O’Neil hope that there is yet more to come from these guys.
