Martin O’Neill has taken a different approach to Wolves than most fans and pundits seem to be taking, with the former Premier League manager being optimistic about their chances.
There is not much to look forward to at Molineux at the moment, as each game seems to pass the club by.
The failure to score goals has been a major problem this season, and that has left the Old Gold unable to pick up wins.
Relegation is the most likely outcome right now, and there will not be many supporters believing things can turn around.
However, Martin O’Neill feels there could still be hope for Wolves.

Martin O’Neill believes Wolves can still fight relegation
Martin O’Neill thinks that Wolves still have enough quality in their squad to start picking up wins in the Premier League.
The Old Gold have yet to get all three points in a game this season, and they remain five points adrift from safety.
Fan sentiments are starting to shift on Pereira, and there is a real lack of positivity seeping into the club at the moment after Saturday’s defeat.

However, Martin O’Neill has provided a positive point of view.
Speaking on talkSPORT, O’Neill said, “Talking about sides that might struggle, West Ham and Wolves. Wolves, at this moment, I still think there is enough talent at Wolves that they can get a win, but they desperately need a win.
“There are a couple of matches they drew that they should have won out of sight, and that was like a defeat to them because they just need a win.
“Psychologically, it is playing on your minds in the dressing room every time you can’t get the result. You might be playing ok, but they need points. Wolves can fight.”
It is unclear what talent Martin O’Neill is seeing at Wolves currently
Right now it feels hard to see what ‘talent’ Martin O’Neill is referring to.
Ladislav Krejci has been an immensely popular figure since joining, but the Czech is a defender foremost and will be of no help in solving the main issue, scoring goals.
Jorgen Strand Larsen is, of course, a quality player, but the Norwegian has nobody to supply him the chances to score goals.
Jhon Arias arrived as an exciting attacker, but so far, he has had little to no impact in the final third.
Martin O’Neill might be positive, and fans will be hoping he is right, but right now, it certainly seems like blind optimism.
