Marshall Munetsi was a late arrival for Wolves in the January transfer window, and he has already made his debut against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup.
Wolves won 2-0 against the Championship at Ewood Park on Sunday.
Vitor Pereira’s side produced a great performance in Lancashire, having taken a bit of time to really get going in the game.
Joao Gomes and Matheus Cunha were the goalscorers for the visitors, and Wolves really controlled things in the second-half.
It was a day of positives, with fans lapping up Munetsi’s debut against Blackburn.
And last night the player took to social media to check in with fans after turning out in old gold for the first time.
Marshall Munetsi sends message to Wolves fans after debut against Blackburn

Marshall Munetsi was introduced to the action just after the hour mark against Blackburn.
He replaced Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in midfield, and the Zimbabwe international made a decent impact when he came on.
Munetsi, who Vitor Pereira said ran the most in a Wolves training session ahead of the game, provided lots of energy, and was cropping up in some very advanced positions.
The star even had a few chances to score his first goal for the club.
He looks like he could be a genuine source of goals from midfield, which will come in really handy for Wolves, who have relied heavily on the likes of Matheus Cunha, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Goncalo Guedes this term.
After yesterday’s game, Munetsi took to Instagram to send his first post-match message to Wolves fans, writing on Instagram: “Very happy with my debut for this great club @wolves. Thanks for all the support and we keep going 🤎💛 #One Pack.”
Munetsi admits settling in at Wolves has been ‘very easy’
Munetsi has settled in pretty quickly at Wolves, and his debut against Blackburn was certainly positive.
The 28-year-old has impressed fans, and Vitor Pereira also praised Munetsi after the win.
Wolves’ newest addition also gave an interview to the club’s media team after the game, and made a pleasantly surprising admission: “I think it’s been very easy because everybody is very kind, everybody has been willing to lend their help, to assist me getting comfortable.
“It hasn’t been that difficult, from the coaching staff to the players, they are so kind.
“It’s just been about getting to know the system and getting to know how we play. But everything else has been very, very good.”
