Marshall Munetsi’s versatility has come of great use to Wolves since his January transfer from Stade Reims.
Vitor Pereira has played Munetsi in an array of central positions since his arrival at Molineux in January.
The Zimbabwean’s ability to add much-needed physicality to the Old Gold’s middle channel made him the ideal capture for Pereira.
Though Wolves fans want to see a lot more from Munetsi, the 29-year-old’s start to life in the Premier League has been encouraging, with plenty more to come.

Marshall Munetsi identifies how he’s improved Wolves
If there’s one thing Pereira loves about Munetsi, it’s his work rate, seeing the winter signing’s tireless energy from day one at Molineux.
The Wolves manager’s early verdict on the Zimbabwe international was a sign of things to come, as Munetsi made an appearance in each of Wolves’ Premier League fixtures following his transfer.
Though Munetsi’s best role is not yet known in terms of where he fits into the Wolves squad, the player understands what he needs to do to get on the good side of his manager.
“There were certain aspects that the manager wanted me to do to help the team, considering that they had seen me from afar, and one of them was my qualities of being a box-to-box midfielder and being able to defend and to also attack,” Munetsi told Wolves’ official website.
The 29-year-old went on to list how he’s helped the Old Gold since his arrival, mentioning four ways that he’s been able to positively impact the team.
“In general, I’ve been able to add more value to the team, especially without the ball, how our shape has become more solid, because we had been conceding a lot of goals [before he arrived] and also assisting when we attack.
“Overall, we managed to find a good way to integrate each and every player in the system that we were using.”
Adding more value to the team, being strong without the ball, allowing the team to become more solid and providing an attacking presence is, admittedly, everything that Munetsi’s game entails.
Munetsi has to improve in front of goal
The former Reims star has a lot of qualities; however, there are also some things that need improvement.
One of which is his composure in front of goal, missing a list of chances during his first season in England.

Munetsi missed a huge chance against Manchester City and did the same against Liverpool, two opportunities that could’ve earned the Old Gold valuable points.
Having found the net twice in his first 16 appearances for Wolves, fans know that Munetsi is capable of being a goalscorer, but it’s certainly something the player will be urged to work on over pre-season.
