Marshall Munetsi was the subject of regular criticism at Wolves, but he’s made a very bright start to life on loan at Paris FC with the goals currently flowing.
Marshall Munetsi was one of five player departures in the January transfer window for Wolves, the others being Fer Lopez, Emmanuel Agbadou, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Jhon Arias.
Munetsi’s exit was welcomed by plenty of fans, many of whom felt that the Zimbabwe international simply didn’t offer enough and lack of consistency.
While he has a brilliant engine, Munetsi lacked technical quality which could often be frustrating.
But he’s enjoying happier times at the moment with his loan club Paris FC.
Marshall Munetsi on fire for Paris FC after leaving on loan

After interest from other clubs, Munetsi has so far made nine appearances for Paris FC and just recently, he has discovered his goalscoring mojo.
He has now scored in three consecutive matches, against Toulouse, Nice and Lyon.
And those goals have been important, with Paris going unbeaten over that stretch of games and helping them to take five points from a possible nine.
For some perspective of his consistency, Munetsi ranks fifth in the whole Paris FC squad in terms of average match rating so far (Ligue 1 only).
His pass completion rate of 76.6% leaves nothing much to be desired. But clearly his output and goal threat are making him a useful asset.
Players making impressions after leaving Wolves
Munetsi is not the only player to have left Wolves in January who is now in really good form.
Fer Lopez made an immediate impact with Celta Vigo, scoring an outrageous goal in the European League against Red Star Belgrade. The Spaniard has had regular involvement since his move.
Jorgen Strand Larsen has also hit the ground running at Crystal Palace, scoring three goals in seven appearances.
Jhon Arias has had a productive start at Palmeiras, making five appearances so far and providing an assist on his latest outing.

This will be somewhat frustrating for Wolves fans, who watched these players fall well short of expectations while they were in old gold shirts this season.
Clearly they are all good players, but for one reason or another they just didn’t produce the goods for Wolves this season, and all will have had a hand in the club’s relegation from the Premier League without really being impacted themselves, which will be hard for some to stomach.
Lopez and Munetsi are still Wolves players having gone out on loan. But it’s doubtful either will be playing their football at Molineux next season.
