Wolves are looking to get back to winning ways on Wednesday night in the Premier League with Burnley the opponents at Molineux.

The team missed a great opportunity for three points against second-bottom Norwich City on Saturday.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

The Canaries held Wolves to a 0-0 draw, and might have stolen all three points if not for Jose Sa.

It was another disappointing away day at the office for Wolves.

It’s Burnley up next for Bruno Lage, and it’s another big opportunity.

The Clarets have won just one game so far this season in the Premier League.

That said, they come into the game having not played on Sunday after their game with Tottenham Hotspur was postponed.

But they are missing James Tarkowski through suspension, which is definitely good news for Wolves.

Paul Merson reckons Wolves will beat Burnley, and that is a view shared by BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson.

Predicting a 1-0 win for Wolves, he said: “Wolves are still in decent form but Burnley are on a four-game unbeaten run and had the weekend off because of the snow.

“This feels like it will be a close game, and there won’t be many goals in it.”

Points over performance against Burnley

The most important thing for Wolves is winning the game.

A good performance would be nice, but with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea all to come, it would be ideal for Wolves to get three more points in the bag tomorrow night.

A tight 1-0 win would be absolutely fantastic, against a side that do tend to give Wolves trouble.

Failure to beat the Clarets, after not beating Norwich, would be slightly concerning given the Christmas schedule.
